Simulation of a dam break


In this project I implemented a basic fluid simulation using smoothed-particle hydrodynamics (SPH). SPH is a lagrangian fluid simulation method using particles which interact with nearby particles in some small radius. The amount of influence a particle has on another is weighted by a smooth kernel function (hence the name). Particles interact and apply forces to eachother based on the Navier-Stokes equations.
